It’s never a bad time to visit Blackpool. In fact, we would go as far as to say, half term is the ideal time to visit Blackpool. We don’t raise prices just because the kids are of school like some holiday companies!
There is a lot to see and do here all year round but there are usually special events put on just for the kids. If three piers, miles of lovely beaches, parks and outdoor spaces aren’t enough, there are a range of special events running during half term too. We also have the top Blackpool attractions, such as:
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is one of the most popular attractions in town and for good reason. It is stuffed full of entertainments, rides and things to do. There are also shows, displays and special events going on all year round.
Blackpool Tower and Dungeon
Blackpool Tower and Dungeon are another top attraction in town. You can see the tower from miles away and you can see even further from the top of it. If you would prefer to go underground, the dungeon is the place to go. A February half term special called Outbreak The Plague is running which looks like a cool event.
With the weather still a little unpredictable, Sandcastle Waterpark is always a safe bet. Set indoors, this temperature-controlled attraction has slides, pools and plenty of things to do. It’s a good way to exhaust the kids while having fun at the same time.
Sea Life Blackpool
Another indoor attraction that is well worth visiting is Sea Life Blackpool. With over 2,000 creatures to marvel at across a series of huge tanks, it is a must-see while you’re here. A new exhibition called Octopus Hideout starts during half term which adds another reason to visit.
Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Madame Tussauds in Blackpool is always a good bet. With something her for every generation, it makes a good day out regardless of age. With pop stars, TV personalities, sports heroes and more, it’s a selfie-lovers paradise!
Blackpool Zoo balances education with entertainment and is worth a visit at any time of year. Time it right to watch the animals feeding and things just get better. With a huge range of animals from all continents and most species, there really is a lot to see and do here.
Blackpool Model Village & Gardens
The Blackpool Model Village & Gardens is a nice and relaxed way to spend an afternoon if the weather is agreeable. See life wrought in miniature set in lovely gardens, then enjoy a warm cup of tea in the café afterwards. A nice way to spend time.
Those are just some of the many reasons why you should spend February half term in Blackpool. Book your room at North Ocean Hotel today to avoid disappointment!
